The huge 10,000 sq ft building is totally under cover and enclosed.  There are a number of large open areas in which selected groups of dogs play together all day, with secure outdoor garden runs also for their use during the day.    For feeding and at night they each have their own private, spacious sleeping quarters with either their own bed or one provided by the Hotel.

All the dogs can be supervised from any part of the building.

And there's no concrete underfoot here - instead a special soft cushioned flooring.

Your feline friends have not been forgotten.  They have their own special accommodation where your cats can relax, have heaps of cuddles and generally lounge about all day as only cats can do.   Warm in winter and cool in summer.

The rural driveway welcomes you to the Airport Pet Hotel.  It is hard to believe that you are still just five minutes from the Airport.

Tariffs are very reasonable and there are no hidden extras.  Included is all food, GST and full grooming.  It does not matter whether you have a Jack Russell, a Standard Poodle, a Labrador or a Schnauzer; providing they have stayed for three nights or longer they go home looking as if they have just left the beauty parlour. 

All guests automatically receive "Frequent Stayer Points" which culminate in a discount when enough are accumulated.  This is a nice surprise when it comes to paying the bill.

Following are some tips to assist you prepare for your pet’s holiday.

•  Two Weeks Before Arrival 

Vaccinations – Dogs

The Airport Pet Hotel require full vaccination within the last 11 months to include the following :

• Parvovirus
• Distemper
• Hepatitis
• Parainfluenza
• Bordetella (We require the Bordetella component to be no older than 8 months on arrival. Please note however, the Bordetella vaccine must be administered at least 10 days prior to arrival at the Airport Pet Hotel.)

Vaccinations – Cats

The Airport Pet Hotel require full vaccination within the last six months to include:

• Snuffles
• Enteritis

You will be required to provide written proof of the vaccinations. If your Veterinarian has any queries about our requirements we would be very happy to talk to him.

Do you need to update your flea control or worming before your pet’s holiday?

•  Two Days Before Arrival 

Assemble your check-in information:

• Vaccination cards as evidence of current vaccinations,
• Medications – ensure you have any required and sufficient medication for your pet’s stay,  Please leave these medications in the containers from the vet.
• Special food – if you are supplying a special diet please ensure you have sufficient and that your feeding instructions are written on the bag,
• Bedding – we provide comfortable beds and bedding. However, you are welcome to BYO pet’s bed; a familiar "smell from home". Please be aware though that dogs can react differently in a boarding situation and, whilst we take every care, we are not able to guarantee the condition in which the bedding may be returned.
• Your Itinerary and contact details in the unlikely event it should be necessary to contact you.
• An alternative emergency name and number for our records.
• Update us of any pertinent medical information, seizures, allergies, lameness or other special health concerns.

•  Day of Arrival 

Make sure you have the vaccination card.   You may check in to the Airport Pet Hotel between 7.30am and 6pm.

Please do not feed your pet before arriving at the Hotel and,

Definitely no special treats – this is an exciting time for your pet. We do not want to cause any stomach upsets.

There is a selection of very reasonably priced toys, chewies, collars and leads and food available for purchase from the Hotel’s shop for your convenience.

Payment

We accept cash, cheques (with identification), Visa, Mastercard, American Express or EFTPOS.

Please note that we cannot release your pet to anyone other than yourself unless you notify us of their details prior to collection. The person collecting your pet must produce proper identification.

No charge will be made for day of pickup if picked up before 1pm.
